Discover Brazil's architectural highlights on one of our tailor-made multi city trips. Typically, on a five to fifteen day trip we visit three to four different cities. Most booked are Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte. Each of these four largest cities of Brazil are known for their own peculiarities. 

The Main Destinations

Rio de Janeiro is UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its spectacular landscape. Therefore, it is also called the Cidade Maravilhosa - the marvelous city. Here, the fast paced urban life style contrasts the sunny and sweet beach life. 

São Paulo strikes with the most exciting contemporary and brutalist buildings. With its over 21 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area, it is one of the largest cities in the world and the most populous in the Southern hemisphere. Numerous world known architectural highlights are to discover in this important economic and cultural center of Brazil. 

Brasilia is a must-see for architects and urban planners traveling to Brazil. Built in the late 1950s, Brazil's capital is one of the youngest in the world. It was planned and built by Lucio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer, who thus gained world fame. 1987 Brasília was declared UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Belo Horizonte counts in with the complex Pampulha by Oscar Niemeyer, a unique heritage of modern buildings in the city center and the Institute for Contemporary Art Inhotim.

Further cities of interest are Curitiba, Salvador da Bahia, Manaus and Porto Alegre, but on request we can include other places in your journey as well.
